While I was at it...

With me spending time last night finishing off the basing on my AA platoon last night, I realised that the 17 pdrs I finished recently were based differently from the halftracks they have as towing vehicles. Since it was a quick job, I updated them with some of the white and yellow flower clumps I've been using.

I've a visit to the Edinburgh Wargames show 'Claymore' coming in August so on the shopping list are more of those flower clumps and moss tufts.

Still not happy with the faces of the crew here, but I will revisit them when my technique improves.

  1. Nice. Those white flowers really pop against the green. Gotta love that AT15 you can get nowadays too!

    1. Thanks Paul! Yeah, they are nice guns - nice to do to the German tanks what they do to your Shermans every damn turn.

  2. Just wish those long guns were a bit more maneuverable in FoW. Immobile guns are almost worthless in this tank game.

  3. I found with them being Veterans (for the Highlanders) then you can spread them out quite a bit and they cover quite a large area. But then I've not played a great deal recently - remember Shermans can tow them!
